A few Christmas cards

There are lots of "me to you bear" craft products out there at the moment. I couldn't resist using some, especially the glittery ones, to make some Christmas cards. These are just a few of the ones I made.

Me to You card for my sister's birthday

I made my sister's card from "Me to You" decoupage. Star backing paper is also from the range.
The decoupage is pre-cut making it easier to get it all lined up and no fiddly cutting :)

70th Birthday Card

I made this card for a special lady for her 70th birthday. She likes owls and the colour purple. I made the owl from decoupage and used foam flowers and butterflies.

Emma and Peter's Wedding

I was asked to help with some of the stationary for the wedding of my friend's brother and his fiancĂ©e. We did the table planner for the evening do. We also made a wishing well to put the cards in.
The colour theme was purple and gold with butterflies.

A rugby card

I made this for OH's cousin. I used a 3D decoupage that had a matching boarder  which I used to cover the join through the middle of the card.

A Musical Card

A birthday card for my musical friend.

I chose the cello image as she plays the cello, I built it into a 3D decoupage. I did the embossed music score with an embossing folder with my Cuttlebug. I used outline peel off stickers for the border and more peel offs for the "Happy birthday" and the notes at the bottom.

A birthday card for my Grandma

I made this "stepper" card for my Grandma's birthday. I saw the design in a magazine making Valentine's day cards. One I got the card trimmed and scored in the right places it wasn't too difficult. I did rumage through all my background papers to find a couple that were different. I added the cakes as it is well known that Grandma has a very sweet tooth! Especially Cadbury's mini rolls!!

Happy birthday Grandma xxx

First attempt at making something with the sewing machine...eek

After receiving a sewing machine for Christmas I thought I'd start by making a simple bag. I've had lots of encouragement from the lovely ladies on MSE so I have a pattern from my local shop and some lovely blue material....here goes......Just hope I don't cut it wonky ;-)

A birthday card for my "cat-mad" friend

My friend is mad about animals and recently adopted a ginger cat which she named "Radish" (I do not know why!). I got the cat embellishments from a local craft shop Once I figured out how to position the ribbon it was quite simple. I did the wording in the centre with an embossing folder using my cuttlebug.

I have a few more cards on the go...am trying out some "stepper cards" that I saw in last month's issue of a crafting mag....watch this space!!!

A few cookies from Christmas

I bought a lovely star cookie cutter set from Lakeland. Made some little cookies as extra stocking fillers. I made the cookie tower for my mother-in-law as she's not a fan of Christmas cake. Not bad for a first attempt, I thought
